About Kendall

​Kendall Hood is the creator of  ToonZee Animation and The Jewel Sisters, two growing brands she launched in 2016. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University’s Animation program in Spring 2025, earning top honors including the Trustees Full-Tuition Scholarship, Outstanding Senior, and the Dean’s Award for Highest Academic Achievement in Cinematic Arts.

Kendall had the unique opportunity to intern in-person at Tonari Animation Inc. in Mitaka, Japan—becoming their first on-site anime animator intern. She continued working with Tonari as a remote freelance animator from January to May and August 2024, contributing to several professional productions.

By the time she completed her undergraduate degree, Kendall had already earned screen credits on anime series streaming on Netflix and Crunchyroll, including Maebashi Witches (2025), Lazarus (2025), Kinnikuman (2024), Slime Tensura (2025), Aquarion: Myth of Emotions (2025),and Touken Ranbu (2024).

Kendall began honing her craft independently before founding ToonZee. Her YouTube channel, ToonZee Animation, now has over 168,000 subscribers and 15 million views, reflecting her dedication and creative vision.

Kendall is known for her imaginative storytelling, tireless work ethic, and deep respect for collaboration. “What’s helped me grow the most,” she says, “is staying passionate, learning from those more experienced, and always going the extra mile. Integrity and hard work are the foundation of everything I do.”
